Poison In Our Water by Jay Syrene
Poison In Our Water
Sodium fluoride and fluorosilicic acid is added to 43% of New Hampshire resident’s public water, including all residents of Manchester, Concord and Portsmouth.
Sodium fluoride and fluorosilicic acid are industrial waste and are the only two chemicles used to fluoridate America’s water – these toxic chemicals should not be confused with organic compounds like calcium-fluoro-phosphate, found in plants.
Sodium fluoride is a hazardous-waste by-product produced from the manufacture of aluminum. It is a common ingredient in rat and cockroach poisons, anesthetics, psychiatric drugs, and military nerve gas.
Fluorosilicic acid is derived from toxic gases produced in the manufacture of phosphoric acid and phosphate fertilizers. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) it can contain 13 “impurities” including lead, arsenic, mercury, and high concentrations of radionucleides; it is also the chemical agent used to fluoridate Manchester’s water supply.
There are hundreds of studies linking sodium flouride and fluorisilic acid with many devestating health problems. Sodium fluoride has been shown to cause brain damage, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Alzheimer, various types of cancer, thyroid problems, bone changes (osteosclerosis), damage the kidneys, fluorosis and sterility.
Studies outlining the danger of fluoride to the brain and our bones date back to the 1930’s. In recent years, hundreds of renown scientists around the world have produced studies detailing the harmful effects of sodium fluoride and fluorosilicic acid on a cornucopia of health issues; the most concerning issue being the effect fluoride has on the human brain. Fluoride has been shown to reduce IQ, concentration, and memory. Forty animal studies have shown that fluoride damages the brain. Of the twenty modern studies done on fluoride’s effect on the human brain, eighteen show that fluoride lowers IQ.
The American Dental Association (ADA), scientists at Harvard University, the prestigious National Research Council (NRC) of the National Academy of Sciences, the FDA, and the Committee on Nutrition of the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as numerous other renowned sources, have all sited serious health risks for infants and young children who consume fluoridated water. The ADA and FDA’s recommendation and policy is that children under 6 months of age should not consume fluoridated water.
Every major health safety organization in the United States attests that fluoridated water is unsafe for infants. Even if you don’t drink the water, sodium fluoride and fluorisilic acid is absorbed through the skin while bathing and showering according to the EPA. How many parrents are unaware of these facts? How many parrents add fluoridated tap water to their baby’s formulas? How many parrents in New Hampshire alone are unwittingly poisining their children and opening the door to a litany of health problems?
Very few parents are aware of the admitted dangers that our water poses not only to our children, but also to adults. For this fact alone we should not let industrial fluoride be added to our water suplies. Right now thousands of good parents are inadvertantly poisening their children and themselves.
When we are aware of the facts it seems insane to submit ourselves to the practice of socialized, forced medication. In the state that proclaims ‘Live Free or Die’ we allow our water to be poisoned when other alternatives are available. The value of fluoride-containing toothpaste to dental health is evident; fluoride is a potent chemical that on contact kills microbes on the teeth, reducing the frequency of cavities. But a substantial (and growing) body of science strongly suggests that ingesting fluoride in tap water does not provide the same dental benefits.
Rejecting water fluoridation is neither a radical nor a new trend. 98% of Europe does not fluoridate their water supplies. Over 60 communities (mostly cities) in the US alone have banned or voted to oust fluoride from their water supplies. Scores of petitions to congress have been signed, urging a moratorium on fluoridation until hearings and additional research are conducted. Petitions include one by eleven EPA employee unions, representing over 7,000 environmental and public health officials and another by a prominent group of 600 medical, dental, academic and scientific professionals.
There have been hundreds of studies showing fluorosilicic acid and sodium fluoride’s harmful effects. Even if there were only a 10% chance that these studies are correct, then why wouldn’t we still ban fluoridation of our water as many countries already have?
If there’s even the slightest chance that the ADA, EPA, Harvard, the CDC and NRC are right about the devastating harm chemical fluoridation poses to infants and children, then we should all contact our mayors, alderman, and water works facilities today, demanding they remove these industrial by-products from our water.
I strongly urge everyone to take action for the safety of our children and ourselves. Research the studies for yourselves, find the information, call our elected officials and stop the poisoning of our water.
